The Studio Shirt

After a few months of making rugged outdoor woolens, we went back to the drafting desk to design a lighter-weight button-up for days of indoor work—or evenings out in town as the weather starts to warm. Striking a balance between relaxed and refined, we paired our traditional tailored fit with one of our favourite shirting materials, a breathable blend made with post-consumer recycled cotton. Soft and smooth against the skin, the new Studio Shirt features a button-down collar, a single-button chest pocket, a double-button sleeve placket and a curved hem that can be worn either untucked or tucked in. Slightly more formal but still sturdy enough to last, it’s an artful addition to the ANIÁN line—and, like most of our styles, it’s made in a unique, dye-free process for the lowest impact on the environment we all share.
