The Britannia Coat

To create the lightweight, vibrantly coloured linings of our limited run Parachute Collection coats, we repurposed 35 parachutes that had been decommissioned after a long life of active duty. In the elegant, hand-sewn Britannia, the lining is paired with a warm recycled Agnello wool outer that makes it our warmest women’s coat. Manufactured in a unique, dye-free process to eliminate the need for harmful chemical dyes, the bouclé-like outer has a lofted, weather-resistant weave; draping gracefully while leaving enough room for easy movement, the longer overcoat design features a double-breasted collar, an oversized crescent moon button, and two pockets to hold your phone, keys and other small essentials. For those who don’t love the feel of wool, the ripstop nylon lining moves smoothly over the skin—and since each upcycled parachute has a unique colour scheme, each Britannia is truly one of a kind.
