Holding off rain and wind, the waxed cotton we use for the all-season Tin Cloth Hat traces its origins to when sailors waxed their sails for strength and weather resistance. Carrying that same durability forward, we’ve built it into a classic five-panel hat with a mid-crown design, adjustable leather strap and antique brass buckle. Designed for year-round wear, it’s become an ANIÁN standard that breaks in for comfort and can be re-waxed to re-up its water resistance over time.

Not to sound extreme; but as a prolific wearer of caps throughout my 40 years.... I can't argue the fact this is the best hat I have ever worn. Note that not all heads are alike, but for my tall skinny egg head; I'll keep buying these for years. Not to mention my first one is still going strong (almost 2 years in). Just needs a re-wax. *Note it has dealt with Squamish west coast rain, non stop. Happy Purchasing!

I was skeptical but I do like it. It is a smaller fit as others have mentioned and that isn't ideal but overall it works, if I didn't have a shaved head it wouldn't fit me. Take the one size fits all with a grain of salt. Just remember it does NOT breathe - you will sweat in warm weather haha

The only complaint I have is I'm not a stranger to waxed cotton/canvas so I asked ahead of time if it would shrink and was assured that it absolutely would not. My daily wear one through the summer that was exposed to heat and the moisture of my sweaty head definitely made it shrink. I have two colors that used to be identical and one is now smaller. Keep that in mind.

I hope they will offer a slightly larger size because overall I will buy this again.

Like a number of other people have noted, it is a small fit. I have a big head, so slightly disappointing. It is the company's fault I have a big head - No. Should it be communicated that it is a smaller make - Yes. Is it well made and nice looking - Yes. Would I appreciate a larger make - Yes!!
