Women's Buffalo Plaid

Like a good pair of boots, the clothes we love are the ones that can take us almost anywhere we need to go. That’s what we had in mind when we designed our Buffalo Plaid, a soft and versatile coverup that’s as happy in the high country as it is in the concrete canyons of the city. It’s made from a hearty, flannel-like recycled cotton blend, wrapping you with cozy warmth on cooler days when the winter winds blow. With rustic elegance and an oversized aesthetic for easy layering, it’s also incredibly comfortable to wear—the material is double-combed and hot water washed after milling, a process that’s labour-intensive but offers a silken and naturally flowing feel. Manufactured in a unique, dye-free process that saves water and eliminates the need for harmful chemical dyes, it has a flat-lying collar, a slightly dropped shoulder, and a longer, scalloped hem that falls below the seat; the design also has a touch more space for ease of movement through the hips.

15-oz 80% post-consumer recycled cotton/20% nylon. Warm and breathable, this sturdy blend has a beautifully soft, double-combed finish and is made in a unique dye-free process for reduced environmental impact.

Our relaxed fit has a looser, oversized aesthetic for easy layering. Roomier through the body than our other fits, the cut also offers more freedom of movement through the chest and arms.

To reduce energy and water use, we recommend washing only when necessary. Less washing also gives your garments a longer life.
