Discover the role:
As Associate Manger, you work with the retail store team to make leadership, symmetry and productivity in the shop. Your primary role is to deliver leadership and guidance to the store staff in the absence of the district manager. Along with providing exceptional customer service that demonstrates our values towards circularity, and slow fashion.
You’ll be responsible for leading the Store Leads and Sales Associates, opening and closing the store, assisting in the organization and delegation of store workload within the team, while being a constant touch stone to store leads. Providing leadership and professionalism to the staff is one of your top priorities. When you’re not working closely with the team you’ll be providing amazing customer service and connecting with and educating customers. Here are some further details of the role:
Leadership:
- Leader of store leads - you’re focused on setting a professional and productive example to the other members of leadership team and staff.
- Connecting with customers and your team. Leading by example, you coach in the moment and you're accountable for all areas of customer experience.
- Lead the sales floor to motivate the team to achieve store sales and customer experience standards in a productive and non pressure approach.
- Work closely with the district manager on all store operations, leadership and staffing issues.
- Support the daily operations of the store to ensure tasks are completed based on previously determined priorities.
- Supporting the development of a culture that balances financial results, community impact and an execution-focus with a fun, dynamic and creative atmosphere.
- Keep the work environment professional and always keep the business needs first over personal relationships.
Customer Experience:
- Provide an exceptional customer experience for everyone who visits us at our stores, with a focus on connection and education of ANIÁN and our post consumer textile manufacturing process.
- Handle and resolve customer cases according to ANIÁN's values.
- Providing feedback to the District Manager regarding customer experiences.
- Handle product issues: fit & styling questions, product education, damaged items.
- Supporting our customers by responding to them via email or phone.
- A supportive attitude that exudes positive energy to customers and staff
- Partner with the District Manager to lead our store experience to brand awareness, positive customer outcomes, invite to return with customer experiences.
Your Background:
- Demonstrated leadership ability with at least three years of leadership experience in a customer-facing setting.
- A drive to always provide amazing customer experiences and coach your team to provide the same standard of service.
- The ability to take feedback and direction in a professional and positive manner from supervisor.
- Ability to problem solve and prioritize the needs of the business based on current work plans and collaboration with the District Manager.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An outstanding attitude that exudes positive energy.
- College diploma or University degree preferred.
- Competent with technology. Shopify an asset

As a retail sales associate at ANIÁN, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our new and long term customers that demonstrates our values towards circularity, and slow fashion. You'll be an ambassador to share your passion for ANIÁN through educating on our unique manufacturing and bring awareness of this process with our customers..

Discover the role:
- Focus on non pressure relationship selling, building a client base and offering an exceptional customer experience.
- Be an ANIÁN fit expert. Keep up to date on all product knowledge and provide customers with the information necessary to ensure they love their ANIÁN items.
- Support the operations of the store including but not limited to, processing POS transactions and handling cash, receiving and processing stock, picking and packing of online orders, merchandising, and inventory counts.

You’ll be responsible for opening and closing the store, assist in the organization and delegation of store workload within the team, and provide leadership and professionalism on the sales floor. - Support the on-boarding of new team members as outlined by the Store Manager.
Store Operations:
- Support the operations of the store including but not limited to receiving and processing stock, picking and packing of online orders, merchandising, and inventory counts.
- Support the execution of weekly and quarterly inventory counts.
- Unpack inventory and create and accept stock transfers.
- Assist with product quality control & accepting returns or product repairs.
About You:
- Experience in retail or customer service, supervisory/leadership experience.
- Passion for building connections with people.
- A high school diploma or in progress/completed post secondary education.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An outstanding attitude that exudes positive energy.

The Opportunity at ANIÁN
As part of our Warehouse crew, you’ll play a key role in the shipping & receiving, order building, and distribution of our sustainable clothing. Added duties include assisting the Returns and Repairs departments.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Must be able to lift, load, unload, and move products, and must be able to twist, turn, croup, stoop, and/or squat repeatedly throughout the day
- Commitment to health and safety protocol and contributing to a safe workplace
- Must be flexible and adaptable as production and distribution schedules can alter day-to-day
