On wet and windy West Coast days, there’s nothing quite like fleece for cozy all-day warmth. But the fleece that’s been an outdoor staple for decades has a few drawbacks—it’s entirely synthetic, and it requires the use of harmful chemical dyes. To provide the same all-weather performance as traditional fleece with less impact on the planet, we’ve designed the new Tofino Wool Fleece with a velour-like post-consumer wool blend that’s beautifully soft against the skin. Made in our unique, dye-free circular process, it has a comfy, oversized aesthetic for easy layering and front snap buttons that are easy to do up with cold or gloved hands. Two hidden pockets on the side seams stash your phone, keys or other essentials, and we’ve added our tin cloth waxed cotton across the shoulders to hold up under pack straps and shed moisture when rain or fog rolls in.
This style was designed with easy layering in mind. Boxier than our traditional tailored fit, the pattern allows more room to move through the chest in arms.Hand wash in cold water and hang to dry. To reduce energy and water use, we recommend washing only when necessary. Less washing also gives your garments a longer life.
