The Eddie Coat
Some of our favourite designs have been around longer than we have. Inspired by men’s coats of the mid-20th century, the Eddie is a versatile, travel-ready front-zip for cool-weather layering. The first ANIÁN spring-weight jacket, we've remade its classic template with a more contemporary fit and the sturdy, post-consumer recycled cotton we use in our Twill Overshirts. While lowering its environmental impact with no new chemical dyes, we’ve also kept the design simple and functional for the city and the woods—a convertible collar, two front pockets, single-button sleeve cuffs, and a brass zipper with storm placket to seal out the wind. Though it draws on the past, the Eddie is a new staple that will last for years.

We make the Eddie Coat in a standard fit; more tailored than traditional, boxy jackets, but relaxed enough to leave room for layering when worn over a hoody or crew. See our sizing chart for further details.
